Law and Order - London style
« on: January 03, 2008, 05:31:31 PM »
THe avid listener of talk radio my husband is, just came in to tell them that he heard  the BBC are in talks and negotiations of creating a British Law and Order set in London.  I think this would be kind of neat because, though I know the show is very much dramatized, it definately would help me have an insight into the British side of things. As long as it didn't turn out to be like The Bill, I think, I might actually enjoy this!

Law in Order (all 3) were my favorite TV shows back home....I didn't think I would be able to cope when I moved here since they don't show them as often as they do in America, but I surprised myself and have managed to find other shows that I like.  :) I would definitely give the UK one a try though.

They might be.  :) We only had a Freeview box that got about 5 channels the first year we were here and I only caught it a handful of times. It seems in America it plays on several different channels, several different times a day. I also remember them having Law and Order Marathons on holidays. 12 hours of Law in Order!  [smiley=smitten.gif] Unfortunately it was getting to the point where I had seen all of them.

I promise I really don't watch as much TV as it sounds.  ;D

There's nothing wrong with that!  ;) :)

If you only have Freeview, I guess that would explain it. On Sky, it seems like one of the L&As is on at least once a day!

I got really excited when Sky was supposed to be showing 'new' episodes. Then I found out that they were actually from two years ago.

lol, I know what you mean.  :) the longer you have been over here, these episodes become the new ones to you.  But on some of my other shows I can't wait, so I end up downloading them!

After less than a year without L&O, I'll watch any episodes I can find. The days that Adam works nights I cram in as many as I can. (He doesn't like the show at all.)

neither does my DH. I wonder why that is?  I wonder if maybe it's because it's something they don't have a lot of knowledge about so find it kind of boring?  Hmmm... this is interesting   :)

Dh doesn't 2 of the 3 shows but he will watch Law & Oder Criminal Intent with me though.
