Dill Pickle Tip - Polish brand
« on: January 08, 2008, 06:03:54 PM »
If you are looking for decent dill pickles, and you live near a Baltic/Eastern European/Polish market/deli, here is the name of a brand of pickles that comes pretty close to 'American' sour dill pickles:

VITAROL
Ogórki kwaszone domowe

Cucumber in Brine
Ingredients: Cucumbers, 60%, Water, 34%, Garlic, 2%, Horseradish 1%, Dill, 1%, Salt, 1%.

If anyone can translate the name, I'd be grateful.
