Original documents...
« on: January 07, 2008, 05:22:59 PM »
HI there - I was looking over my visa documents and had a quick question...

Our lease agreements are copies and I have only included the 1st page which has both our names, terms of lease- dates, address and initials.  I do have many many bills/letters addressed to each of our addresses, as well.
I just got a bit worried since our lease agreements are not "the original" (the one the apartment complex keeps), will this be a problem?  I understand you must have originals and copies- but at least where we have lived, the apartment just gives you a copy of your lease.

any advice?

Thanks!!!

You could ask them to write a letter confirming they have orig document and confirming you are both living at that address and both named on the lease.

Get them to stamp it with business stamp if they have one and on letter headed paper might be ok to back up copy you have.
I hope we get better weather with the new year I am getting rained out.

Good luck to everyone with respective visa applications.
