Where in the heck is the Buttermilk Ranch Dressing?
« on: July 06, 2008, 07:40:31 PM »
I'm not talking about the one (only) ranch dressing in tesco. I'm talking about the Hidden Valley (or Ken's) Buttermilk Ranch???

**sings** Where oh where could it beeeeeeeee?
*Yank or Yankee is one of the lesser derogatory slang terms for any American, whether from New England or not.

*The Oxford English Dictionary states that one of the earliest theories on the word derivation is from the Cherokee word "eankke" for coward as applied to the residents of New England.

You don't hear me calling you a bloody brit, so don't call me a yank!

they don't do hidden valley here.......sorry

It has taken me AGES to get my DH to like it but now he LOVES it...skyco and cybercandy is usually the best place to get it or get someone to mail you someof the dry packet mixes

I usually bring a box or 2 back with me when I go visit.

You can get Cardini's ranch dressing.

To be honest we are only just moving on from Heinz Salad Cream!

I'm getting annoyed with things being discontinued....
Tesco did  a nice low fat blue cheese dressing - that was discontinued
Then I couldn't get hold of Cardini's low fat Caeser dressing
and now I can't get Kraft low fat Caeser dressing!

Maybe you could try this

The Aldi ranch was horrible (bought it two summers ago - they have the American stuff around this time every year).  The Honey-Mustard they do in that range is pretty good though.

I bought Neuman's ranch in Tesco, but that was like 3-4 years ago.  Try checking mysupermarket.com

I havent found anyplace to buy Hidden Valley Ranch packets yet but if you just want a quick fix ... Subway does have it for putting on their subs.  Tried to talk them into selling me a bit but they wouldnt do it!  So for a quick fix .. head to your nearest subway and request extra ranch on your sub.

That is exactly what I do when Dh & I go to Subway I also get extra extra pickles on my sub as well that is the only place around where I live to get some decent pickles.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
