Getting married in US then UK ceremony
« on: January 06, 2008, 07:34:40 PM »
So..

My Fiance and I are getting married in March in Washington State, and then we want to do a renewal of vows in Cambridge in September... Do you have to wait a certain amount of time after a Wedding to renew youe vows? How much does the ceremony differ from the actual Wedding? She wants her dad to walk her down the isle and what not.. can he?

I don't think there is a time limit.  It is a blessing ceremony and in our CoE ceremony we walked in as a couple since we were already married.

I am not sure if having her dad walk her down the aisle would be a problem.  It might be since it is a blessing, but maybe not depending on where you go for the ceremony.

Hiya!

Wouldn't have thought there would be any problem with either doing it right away or the aisle thing, but I suppose it depends on your choice of venue.  What part of WA?
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.
