Traveling with Small Needles
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:56:04 PM »
I checked the NTB website and it says you can carry on knitting needles and crochet hooks.  Also permissible now are scissors less than 4 inches long or blunt tipped or plastic scissors.
If they allow big knitting needles would you think I'd be able to carry on some beading needles?  I have a big project I'd like to bead and being able to do it while on my flight or on a layover would be great.
Anyone have anything like that confiscated before flying?  I just don't want to be searched and my stuff searched for just one lousy beading needle.
Not grousing about Security-I'm all for it.  I'm wondering now if it's different for international flights...
Not better, nor worse.  Just....different.
