Wow.... maybe I'm weird, but I don't mind any of the options. Sometimes I want something creamier, sometimes I don't. In general, though, I'll have whatever's around. (We always have semi-skimmed because Adam hates full fat milk.)

I don't like instant creamers, but I'll deal with it if that's all there is. I was brought up drinking Coffee Mate or Cremora in instant coffee, so I can stomach most things.

I like skimmed milk in tea, but not coffee.  For coffee I'm happy with half and half in the States and semi-skimmed here.  Coffee just needs the extra creaminess to offset its natural acidity.  I won't touch non-dairy creamer though.  Ugh, it's whipped partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Same here, I can deal with whatever. :)  I usually used skimmed milk (the blue stuff) in the US, or they had instant creamer at the office.  Half-n-half sometimes as a splurge, but not frequently.  Here I usually have semi-skimmed, but I've been known to put a bit of double or single cream in if we have some leftover & lurking in the fridge, although sometimes I find the cream too rich & I can't stomach much of that (in coffee).

I also prefer to use artificial sweetener, because it makes the coffee sweeter.  It would take a lot of sugar to get the same level of sweetness in the coffee that artificial sweetener gives it.  But I will drink it with sugar if that's what's available - accepting the coffee just won't be as sweet with just a sensible teaspoon of sugar.

I've also been known to tip a bit of Baileys in my coffee...

For some reason it never occured to me that some people actually *like* skim milk in their coffee (as opposed to using it for diet reasons), so my apologies there!

And as far as coffee being coffee and not pudding--that actually gave me an idea--coffee flavored pudding--that would be yummy!  :)   [smiley=chef.gif](pudding as in the American definition of pudding--a thick and creamy dessert, not the British definition of pudding--any old dessert.)

tiramisu is yummy!

Coming in to ask a related question- I have about 2 cups of leftover double cream (I bought it originally for a cream and spinach sauce for pasta- yum!) and I'm not sure what to do with it!  I have to use it by Wednesday as that's when we're heading to the States on holiday..any ideas on how I can use it up? (I can't drink *that* much coffee! :P)

Pour it over pretty much anything! Buy some raspberries or strawberries, if you're not in the mood to make crumble or pie.  :)

I took Genau's suggestion and made rice pudding today with some of the extra cream- yummy!! Especially with the vanilla extract I added.  And now I have pudding for dessert tonight and for breakfast the next few days ;)
