My future Inlaws both got sick on their return flight with BA from barbados! :(

Again I just think its the luck of the draw the majority of the time! :-\\\\

My old boss got samonella (sp?) presumably from the chicken on a BA flight from Argentinia to the UK several years ago  :o but that's usually the only airline I fly for a variety of reasons.

I think someone on this forum (was it peedal?) recommended ordering the halal meal on BA.

I did that when we flew to the Bahamas and it was way nicer than the food everyone else got.

But otherwise, I really didn't like it. I prefer flying AA or Virgin.

I honestly am probaby alone, but I love Delta. You can fly in coach and still get a bag with tooth brush/tooth paste, eye mask, wet wipes, a comb, lotion, stuff like that.

Then they give you ice cream, and on the way back to america you get a cheese pizza, the only plane food I like!

Delta in the last year have really stepped up their coach service.

I agree with this.  I always order a vegetarian or vegan meal and its usually quite nice.

That's if they bother to get you a meal in the first place.

I ordered a fruit plate for my then 8-month-old daughter and coming and going the crew had no record of such an order.... even though I called it in and physically went up to Gatwick twice to make sure a fruit plate was booked.

How do you make special food requests? I never see the link when purchasing the ticket or remember before check in. Can you do it online?

:o when I flew Delta there wasn't even in flight entertainment on any leg let alone a goodie bag!!

When I first flew with Delta there wasnt either, this is just new within the last year ;D The first time I flew Delta overseas there was inflight entertainment in the way of 2 movies, and some TV shows played on a big screen and little TVs on the sides every few rows.

I personally love the planes with personal TVs though, makes my travel time zoom by!

But yeah, Delta has really stepped it up in the last year, I think!

I would NEVER fly Air France to the US again. They are HORRIBLE!

worst flight I have EVER been on and I've been on a few!  To be avoided at all costs!
