Does anyone live South of London?

I live in Chinnor, which is a small village about an hour from London. I was wondering if anyone lived closer than London to me. I would love to met up with someone close by to do things with once in a while. I just get so lonesome for an american friend that understands what I feel.  :'( 

I am going to go to work soon and am very anxious.  Still haven't got my name changed on my passport or social security. No health number or work number or anything. I just get anxious about doing these things.  I do fine when my husband is around but find myself immobiled sometimes when he is working and then I feel  guilty that I haven't done anything. Would just be nice to have someone close to go have coffee with and be of encouragement.  Of course I would encourage you and be there for you too. Is there anyone out there?

I guess you can see I am feeling finda low today. Even a chat buddy would be nice. 

Well, I'm not south of London, but I'm still available for a chat from time to time!  :-)  We all understand what you're feeling--it's wonderful to be with the person you love, and so exciting to move to a new country, but it's also a very lonesome experience sometimes.  If you need help getting anything (NIN numbers, registering w/ a surgery, etc.,) everyone here will be glad to help!  :-)   

How easy is it for you to get a train to Reading? A few of us are meeting up (some with, some without partners) at Chilis near the train station at the Oracle. Sat, May 22 at 6pm. See "Meeting and Events"...should be a great time!

Chinnor is one of those little London villages/burbs that's actually hard to get to Reading via train (you have to go thru London or Oxford) but maybe Kitty doesn't mind driving?

oh my husband can drive us.  He is out for a dinner meeting tonight but I will ask him to check his diary when he gets home. It isn't that far a drive and he already told me he would like to go to one of the meetings sometime. Would be real nice to meet some people. Reading is not that far at all.

I talked to my husband last night about the met in reading and he says it sounds like fun and he is free so count us in too.  Looking forward to it.
