Ireland...visa stamp question
« on: March 23, 2008, 12:03:40 AM »
Hey all, I frequently have travelled to the Republic of Ireland for day-trips and as many know, when returning to the UK there is no passport control. I just realised that this may cause a problem as it could look like I overstayed in Ireland (though I only go for 1-2 days at a time) or I spend too much time out of the UK. I am going to Cork in 2 weeks for a night out with friends there (free flight!). Do I need to request an immigration office at Prestwick Airport in the UK or will I be OK? I didn't know if they share info at immigration, etc. Thanks!! (I have a student visa BTW
