I'm a bit on the fence about the publicity since there are kids involved, but I do think people should be named and shamed a bit more. I'm only speaking of my own experiences/observations, but it really seems that if a woman who has been cheated on/betrayed actually opens up and lets it all out, she is automatically out for revenge and is a b*tch and vindictive, and the infidelity/betrayal gets totally glossed over and the woman is the target of gossip, and the man isn't really viewed as doing anything wrong. It's like the woman's sin of opening her mouth outweighs anything the man did.
When someone betrays you you will go to ANY length to humiliate that person even if it means yourself.
I agree. It may not necessarily be "right", but it's human nature. I couldn't even imagine being in her shoes, finding out that my husband was having an affair with a TEENAGER moments before giving a public speech. Something like that would have shattered my whole world, and I doubt my first thought would be to take the high road.
