health insurance for travel to the US

Does anyone have a recommendation for insurance that gives you health insurance while traveling in the US? I'll be back there for a few weeks in May and really don't want to be a day without insurance in the US!

Thanks,

Clarelynn

We used M&S (Marks and Spencer) for travel insurance to the states. I am not sure what you mean by health insurance but the travel insurance covered unforseen medical costs. Covers up to 45 days, I believe.

I used endsleigh for my travel insurance the last time around- they'll cover you as long as you've lived in the UK for 6 months or more.
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12

I'm pretty sure my travel (inc. health) insurance is through SwiftCover.

Just looking for something basic, so if I break a leg or something I don't end up with $5,000 in bills!

Thanks,
