Err- nightguards
« on: April 07, 2008, 11:09:54 PM »
Errr- I am a teethgrinder- and a bad one to boot- I chewed threw my nightguard finally last night and I need a new one (because I was too cheap to by a $700 from my US dentist)- so I have been using the boil and mold ones- which is usually fine, get a good amount of time of them...but now I need a new one. Do they sell them here?

my UK dentist made me one- something like £300.  i've never seen the ones specifically for night-teeth-grinding over the counter here in the UK.  however, i have seen the boil-ie for sports here.

They sell those boil and mold ones for grinders at Boots. I bought one for about £20 a few months ago... I didnt get on with it - but if that's what you're comfortable with, then nip on down to Boots.

Thanks!

They take some getting used to, and I really should find a dentist and get one, but I just couldn't justify the $700 at the time-  when I could spend $50/year and not destroy my teeth...
