London to Brighton Bike ride

anyone doing or has done the L2B bike ride? Just wanted to know how did you manage. There a group that are interested in skating the journey.

My parents cycled in it a few years ago and I believe they enjoyed it, but they did say that the last part of the ride into Brighton involved a big hill, which was very strenuous after cycling all the way from London!

yeah that's what I'm worried about doing on skates and if it rains my wheels will be no use...hmmm

Do Both !!

Why not ride down by bike then when you get here skate along the seafront all day before ridinh back !! :) :)

How far is that? I am shipping two bikes over, and I would like my better half and i to get into a biking group together...at least I would like to.

50 some miles but I think the brighton one is full up. Check bike events website (google "Bike Events UK") and there are a bunch to do. Trying to get hubs into it we hope to do the Newforest one in Sept as a family jaunt.
