bone spurs

ok so i was in the a and e all night last night, ok not all night but a long time ::) anyways i know i have had bone spurs, for about 10 years my ex ran over my foot back then and when they did an xray it came back showing i had bone spurs of like a 60 year old lady was the words my dr used. at the time i was 23. anyways so i m having really bad pain for like 3 weeks now and i went to the emergency room and ended up doing xrays, they are many and big spurs.... so i got a referral for my gp to send me to an orthopedic surgeon. my guestion is this anyone have this condition? or the surgery or any info? im really in pain, and medicines help they give me but make me sleepy.....

My ex (in the US) had very painful bone spurs and was given cortisone shots for it. She also had some type of physical therapy where they applied electric currents to her feet.
