Hi and welcome to UKY Robert.  We know all about LDR here as many of us have been there and done that or are still doing that.

Don't worry about mistakes and ask if you have any questions!

Hi Robert, welcome to UKY :)

we have all been there, and know how rough the long distance thing is. I am from Texas too, and moved to England about 4 years ago to be with my love. I wish I had known of a forum like this when I was going thru the stress of seperation. Feel free to pick our brains, or vent when you need to :)

Hi and welcome Robert.  I'm in an LDR too, but not for long ;) Hang in there.

Adding my welcome - I'm sure the woman on the other end is a fabulous, gorgeous piece of wonderful... which makes every second of a long distance relationship worth it. ;)

Hey Robert, Well you've already had a hi from my better half (kas nut) so I thought i'd say a quick hi. Yes it is hard when you miss someone but it's even harder knowing you might never be with them, i've walked that line before and i've already sworn never to do it again so don't give up. Kassie and I met online 6 years ago and she is due to move to the UK in less than 5 months so believe me it can work, all you need it a little faith and a lotta love :) and friends like us on here of course, good luck buddy ;D
I love you Kassie,

Just to stop idiots like me posting too late, Robert lost the heart of his love to someone else today, but my post still stands, all you need is a little faith, particularly now, my heart goes out to you bud,

I love you Kassie,
