Ooo, cute.  Thanks all!  Hopefully the M&S where we're picking our cake up from will have some in stock :).  If not, I honestly don't mind just sticking the 2 cakes next to each other on the table.

I saw the same thing MaryKate saw just the other day - packets of columns/dowels displayed with the cakes at M&S....

Here's a picture of ours - I think it turned out pretty well considering I'm not even vaguely crafty!! It's a bit blurry, but it's the only one I could find quickly.

I think it looks great! You couldn't tell at all that it's not from a baker's and didn't cost a fortune :)
Neither my boy or I like cake, I'm thinking a profiterole stack would be cool...just got to get him to ask me to marry him first! :P

Thanks guys!  :)

MaryKate, I would have LOVED a profiterole stack. Only trouble is I would have probably eaten the whole thing!  :P

Thanx for all the advice guys...I ended up cheating and hired a stand last minute!! Here is a piccy of the famous Marks & Spencer Wedding Cake after I decorated it! The whole thing came to about £98 so it was cheap!
