It makes me want to go check out the Turkish Baths here in Harrogate as soon as we can!  I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the baths, because I do tend to feel quite self-conscious in a swimming suit being big like I am - but it wasn't any big deal.

If you feel self-conscious in a swimsuit, you might not want to go to Harrogate! Aren't the baths there nudie? I have friends who've been and that's what they told me, but they were happy to prance around in their birthday suits.

Glad you had a good time in Bath!  :)

I somehow missed this thread.  Glad you had such a good time Mrs.R!

I love Bath and have been there a few times.  Like chary I *love* the fashion museum (more for the old than for the contemporary clothing) and the Roman Baths--so old and the atmosphere is thick with history.

I had some food at Sally Lunn's too but I can't remember a thing about it so it must not have been so great all around.

Over 10 years ago I went on a ghost walk that started outside of the Roman Baths and it was terrific!  I haven't been to Bath in more than a few years, but would love to go back soon.

At Harrogate, the single sex sessions are clothing optional, but you can wear a swimming suit if you want to.  My friend Helen here has reassured me it's no big deal either way - most tend to go naked, but it's whatever makes you comfortable really.  However, you do have to wear a swimming suit for the coed sessions - which is what Steve & I would (obviously) do if we go together.

Glad you had a good time in Bath!  :)

Thanks & welcome back - to you!

And to Andee too! :)

Glad you had a nice time!  :D Well done on finding the Raven and the Salamander. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  My BF loves going to the Raven for a pie when he's in town.

If there's a pub with good beer around, DH is liable to find it! ;)

Fashion museum? I gotta go back!

Glad you had a great time, Mrs R! Especially as vegetarian food can be so dodgy!  ;)

We did go on one of the free walking tours & that was really good too!  I think one of the highlights for us (which we had planned all along) was a trip to that Thermae Bath Spa, which was amazing!  We did the 3-hour twilight package, but we didn't eat there although the price includes a meal if you want it - we just stayed in the baths the entire time.  I wish we could go there all the time!

I am really jealous now - I WANNA GO THERE !!!!!  ;)

Glad you had a nice time  :)
