Mexican grocer / shop in London

Hi guys... just ran across this link:

http://www.casamexico.co.uk/products/index.php?category=40

We're so lucky to have Lupe Pintos here in Scotland... perhaps this place is similar?

I have seen their site before but don't know anyone who has been to the shop. They have some lovely Mexican glassware on their site.

Ok, I just got back from there. Today was the first chance I got!

Here's the outside:

Inside it's actually pretty big, with I'd say 80% housewares and cermaics, and the back left corner is the grocery section. I bought a big 1 kg bag of black beans for £2.90, a generous 100g bag of dried chipotle peppers for £2.90 and a jar of Mole Verde (which I've never heard of before - first ingredient is pumpkin seeds!) for.... you guessed it - £2.90. I also got a very nicely painted glazed terracotta plant pot for £8.50. Some of the stuff is a bit overpriced IMHO but the little grocery section didn't seem to be too bad.

I didn't take any photos inside because the lady was watching me the whole time and I didn't want any drama...

It's an easy 5min walk from Bethnal Green tube, and be aware that it's off Old Bethnal Green Road, which runs parallel to and just north of the regular Bethnal Green Road, fyi.
