I'm having issues with a pattern. I'm a complete novice, so I think it's just a case of my not understanding what they're instructing me to do.
Here's what it says:
Cast on 31sts and P 1 row
Next Row (right side): K29, turn
Next Row: Sl 1P, P26, turn
Next Row: Sl 1, K25, turn
Next Row: Sl 1P, P24, turnOK. I've cast on my 31 stitches and have purled the first row. No problem. But now if I knit 29 stitches, I'm left with 2 (31-29=2) stitches. So once I turn and slip one, there's still one left. How do I continue if I've still got one stitch on the wrong needle? Just ignore it?
Once the pattern starts going down from 26 to 25, 24, etc. it makes sense to me. But it seems as if there ought to be a row where you knit or purl 30 and 28 stitches in there. Is the pattern wrong or am I just hopelessly confused?
