Canada destination cheaper than the US on the airlines?
« on: August 28, 2008, 02:49:42 PM »
I thought I could pull something and save by flying from Canada now I'm not sure?
Someone said the airline flight taxes are higher if you use a Canadian airport.
Today's rate of exchange for the pound is $1.83. (I know this is not related :-\\\\)

It really varies, though once you add in the cost of transportation to or from Canada, it ends up evening out.

(When I was in Vermont, I'd always check flights from Burlington, Boston, NYC, and Montreal. I never once flew from Montreal and my priority was always cost.)
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.
