We got to see Richard Thompson at Shrewsbury after all, as our cat seemed to be ok on Sunday morning (see Inconvenient Annoyances post). RT was mind-blowingly fantastic! I just can't find the words to describe him. Incredible guitar, singing, lyrics, passion - all combined at full power for an hour and a half. How one person can sustain that much energy over that period of time, I can't imagine. There are other performers that I like, but I can't think of any that compare. Really, really glad I got to go after all.
