Game recommendations for Wii

DD will be getting a Wii tomorrow from FIL for her birthday and we are all excited about it.

I know it comes with the sports game but I would like some recommendations of games that a seven year old and a family would enjoy together.

And is the Wii fitboard worth the money?

 

Rayman Raving Rabbits.  The first one. 

ooh I love Boom Blox, it's great! It's lots of different block puzzle games, good for kids (easy ones) and harder ones for adults,I really like the wii jenga! Good for playing against each other as well

Lego Indiana is fun as well, good co op for two of you to play

Cookingmama's! Great fun for everyone !

Honestly, Wii Sports tends to be one of the most fun games on the platform. Many of the other games also available on other platforms come off as a bit awkward. I'd also recommend WarioWare Smooth Movies for some honest-to-god LOLs.  =)

Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, and Zelda: Twilight Princess.  And I would splurge and get the wheels for the Mario Kart, and the sword/shield add ons for Zelda.  Too much fun!
