hello everyone!

i have a weird question and i'm not quite sure where to ask it!  i recently received my fiancee visa (YESSS!!) and will be traveling over in less than two weeks!  my question is this:  is it ok to carry my fiance's passport back with me?  i was planning on posting it back to him after the visa was sorted and i got all of our documents back, but then i thought i'd save a few bucks and just carry it with me... but if my bag gets searched will it look kinda suspicious to be carrying someone else's passport in a addition to my own??  ...i know i'm probably just paranoid, but it's getting close and all of these little things are popping into my head!  ::)

thanks!

I don't think you will have a problem.  I had my fiance's passport with me along with all the originals plus a copy of everything for my fiance visa which I carried in my carry-on bag.  If for some strange reason they decide to search you, even though you've got a visa (they won't though), you will tell them you have the passport because it was needed for your visa.

My DH brought my passport over with him when he entered on his fiancee visa and had no problems.
