Yeah, in the US, the coffee I used to buy from a local roaster about 10 years ago was $12-15 a pound (but that was a real pound). When I moved out of the area, I never found anything to replace it. I found cheaper alternatives, but they weren't nearly as good.
Is Whittard's good? Mr. Akimbo picked some up months ago, but it was a small amount and a very mild blend (he's a super taster so he doesn't like most coffee). There's one on Victoria Street and probably at least one in the station, so that would be really convenient.
