London to Florida?
« on: September 24, 2008, 03:43:00 PM »
I need a break.  I suppose in about early to mid October.

Does anybody know what is the optimal (most economic) day to fly stateside?  I think it's Tuesday, but does anybody know for sure?  I was also thinking business or 1st because why not, but does that make a difference to which is more economical?

I use kayak.co.uk.  You put in your destination and make sure to select business class, and it will come up with a wee calendar that shows you the best fares over the month, depending on the date of departure.

Thank you, ma'am.  On it right now.   :D

Virgin also offers you a view of several days...and from what I have heard you might like to use their FL holiday package for absolute luxury and ease. Just call them and they do absolutely everything else...1st class.

Yeah, kayak is great for that!
Also, depending on which airport you fly into in Florida can fluctuate the fares greatly.
I highly recommend Virgin upper class! Its lovely on the 9 hour flight and you're treated golden!

I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Thanks everybody, I just booked 'em on kayak.

Just a quick R&R to recover from the volatility these past two weeks.....
