Thanks for all the awesome advice, ladies!!  I suspect that my first effort probably shouldn't be a flipping angel food cake, but eh - that's what I'm craving!  I'll let y'all know how things turn out....if I ever get motivated to start baking. ;D

I'm a bit late, maybe, but my fan oven seems to do pretty well if I lower the temp by 20C. Brave girl, tackling an angel food cake in a new oven! One of my faves, though. :)

My angel food cake turned out ok in my fan oven.  Good luck!  We move next week, I am worried about the oven.

I have a fan oven (it has a picture of a fan on it?) but my mine seems to take longer and doesn't heat up enough!  Weird!
