I love Little Britain and Catherine Tate.  I just like that kind of humor.

Me three. I also love the US version of the Office. I think it's hilarious and is one of my favorite shows of all time. I've seen the UK version too and I enjoyed it as well.

I mean, would you want to move to the US after watching most American television?!!?  ;D

LOL! Hardly think so!

I would say, as a big fan of both US and UK television, the US version of the Office is much funnier and much smarter than the UK version. Its incredibly witty, well written and is not a direct copy (if you will ) of the UK ofice, it touches on US issues (like health care) and its just bloody funny. I can't wait til it comes back on (US) tv next month! Dwight could beat Gareth up anyday...

I found this topic from last year as I was looking for posts on The Office.  Partly to ask if anyone knows how to get the US Office Season 5 on the Web?  We tried NBC, Amazon and iTunes and they all require you to be in the US, or at least have US payment and billing info and seeing as we're in the UK...

Just my 2 cents.  There are parts of Little Britain that are hilarious and I always like the Majorie Dawes stuff.  But some of the toilet humor stuff gets old really fast.  I think it is a bit hit or miss.

I've always enjoyed Catherine Tate and thought she is a very good comedian and enjoy most of the sketches she does in her show.  I was pleased to see when she first started doing Dr. Who.

As for the Office, for those who say they didn't like it.  Did you only watch the first few episodes of first season and give up on it?  Because those were pretty bad.  Unfortunately, they tried to do a word for word translation of the UK Office and it wasn't very good.  However, from about mid 1st season onwards they went off on their own tangent and while there are some general similarities it is quite different and really funny.  Great stuff.
And the world first spoke to me in Sensurround

Totally agree about US Office... The first season wasn't very good, but then they found their feet and it's wonderful now.... And Steve Carrell has given more depth and made his version so likeable/endearing and still cringeworthy...

I still love the Dawn/Tim lovestory best, but I do love the Dwight man deeply :-*
