M-bags

Has anyone shipped books this way recently? How long does it take? I thought it shipped via airmail. I shipped my box from LA to London Sept 6 or so and it still hasn't arrived.

I thought I read they'd discontinued M-bags. In fact, I'm pretty sure they have...

M-bag delivery via surface mail was discontinued but as I wrote, I was able to do this at the counter a few wks ago.

Well, hmph! My local post office said there was no suchofa thing without surface mail. As it turns out, I'm not shipping as much as I expected, so it's not an issue for me, but...how rude.

My mom sent me a M-bag package last month.  I think it took about two weeks.
