White Tiger

White Tiger by Aravind Adiga has just won the Booker Prize.

Has anybody read it?  What did you think?

I haven't read it, but it's on my list! I usually buy all the Booker short-listed books, but I haven't done it yet this year.

I want to get it but my book buying budget has been sharply curtailed.  I'm down to reading library books for the most part.  I'm hoping somebody has really enjoyed this book and can convice me to buy it!   

My aunt read it and adored it; she recommended I get it before it even won the prize.  I've requested it from my library and should get it this weekend!! YAY!

Geeta, you never fail to impress me!    You read at the speed of light, and use a library like nobody's business. 

I love to read so much that I am even going back and forth to the library despite the non-stop madness with me leaving in two weeks!  I can't help it.  The worst part is I'm not in a real reading mood right now...so I've got all these lovely books waiting there and I can't get into them!  I've only really had time to read short stories and magazine articles at the moment.  Oh well, luckily Yale has a gorgeous huge library and I have all December to enjoy it!
