Tier 1
« on: September 29, 2008, 10:49:21 PM »
I have been reading some of the interesting comments and advice on the forum. The information are awesome, however can anyone provide timelines for tier 1?
My application was received by the Chicago office on August 15th. Received email confirmation on August 27th stating below:

We have received your application and it is now waiting to be assessed. We ask that you allow us 3 working days to assess your application. If everything is in order with your application and if we are able to issue your visa, we will send an email to let you know when it has been dispatched and provide you with a UPS tracking number.

Applications that have been submitted via the drop box will be notified by email when their documents are available for pick up. The hours when documents will be available for pickup are between 3-4 PM, Monday through Friday. The pickup location is the same as the drop off location.

If your application is deemed non-straightforward it may take up to 10 business days in total from the date it was logged on our system to complete your application.

Please note that settlement applications may take up to 50 days (2.5 months) to assess.

This email has been sent from an outgoing only mailbox. Replies will not be read.

Keeping an eye on email daily, what are the timelines for tier 1 applicants.

Any info or comments will be appreciated.
Thank you

Good point.

E-mail them.  But tier 1's are always going to be a bit slower, as it is all so new.
