I have some logistical questions about how we would go about things if we moved to Glasgow (husband is a citizen), but he still worked for his US company remotely. We are thinking about doing this because the pay would be double what he would make in Glasgow (even with the exchange rate). We plan to rent out US house. I have some questions:
1) Would US taxes still be taken out? or would UK taxes?
2) What about NHS taxes? We want to be able to use NHS. What would we need to do.
3) I guess I we would need 2 bank accounts? One US to pay our mortgage and get checks from the renters. A UK one to pay our bills in Glasgow. I read someone there's a bank that you can get both but I couldn't find the post.
4) Any other things that I am missing?
