Going from Sky to Sky+
« on: November 03, 2008, 01:19:34 PM »
I did a quick search and didn't see this asked already.  Here's the history & Q:

We already have Sky in my name.  We have no contract length with it as we started out on Freesat.  My question really is that if I cancel and sign DH up to Sky+ (as it seems this is the cheaper route) are we able to do this?  Do we have to wait a set amount of time?  Or what is the best route to do this?  Any other help, advice or cautions?   :-\\\\

Many thanks in advance!   :)

I did this- cancelled the boy's contract and then started it again in my name.  Way cheaper.

Can I ask; how long did you wait between cancelling and reordering?

I'm interested in this too.  Did you need to give the satellite dish or your current sky box back?

I won't need to give my box or satellite back, since I originally paid for FreeSat and decided to keep Sky, but if they want the dish back they can take it... and then come back and reinstall it.   :P
