American Express Changes in the US
« on: November 09, 2008, 10:26:00 PM »
AMX enclosed some changes they are making effective Dec 2, 08.
Payment is due 10 days after the end of the month.
Late penalty if not paid on time.
Interest rate is being increased.
People are reporting that limits on their credit have been reduced.
Sign of the times.

I have spent over an hour checking my last statement and finally I double checked the total and it is incorrect!
No one questions the total right?

AMX has laid off a lot of their employees.
They have also using new software.

Yep, and all that without even the dreaded, infamous American Express AR (account review). They lowered our limit (slightly) on the card we use a lot (Honors Points) and not all on the card we rarely use. Interest rates remained the same, however. Go figure.
