Any ideas how it works for Spouses of EU citizens ?

I'm a EU citizen (portuguese) .. my wife and daughters are US born ..

How does it work for them when we move to the UK .. is it a big hassle ? .. anybody had this experience before ?

A friend of mine married  French citizen and had absolutely no hassles staying here.  Your wife simply applies as the spouse of an EU citizen. Is your daughter eligible for a Portugeuse passport by descent? If not, I would not think it would be problematic to get her a visa as the child of an EU national.
