I do love lamb in Indian dishes, too.  It's much more flavourful and complementary to the spices than beef or chicken.

Of course, I like venison and wild boar as well... ;)

Oooooohhhh! Yes indeed! I love lamb curry! Now I have a serious craving... and it is my birthday today...better call the DF and make dinner plans!  ;D ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Lamb curry for your b'day - now that's a way to say "I love you"!   ;)

Hmmm...makes me think we might go Indian in Plymouth!  ;D

It's a thought! Though we were also debating seafood . How are you and your DH on that?

I love seafood - actually, as I told vnice - I love food in general!  If it doesn't still have its eyes in, I'll pretty much give it a go!

Had cockles a couple weekends ago.  Won serious respect and admiration from my mother-in-law over it, too!  ;D

Cool, because Vnice has charged me with finding somewhere to eat...being the only vaguely local person right now!

Haven't tried cockles but imagine they are similar to clams? The DF did escargot in Paris - bah!  ;D

They were a bit...gritty...hmmm...maybe it was a minted cockle-burger that was had?!  ;)

I like escargot, too.  Yummy w/garlic and butter....I'm getting seriously hungry here, folks, and we're just having "nibbles" whilst watching THE GAME!  :D
