Yes it does, but given you cannot pass the "applicant was physically in the UK exactly 3 years before UKBA receive the Naturalisation application test until 31.08.10 at the earliest, I suspect that new rules will be in force by that time.

How about time spent in the UK but with the US forces... I think I read that the time I was in the military over here doesn't count because I wasn't under immigration control but I just want to make sure?
