It's official!
« on: July 28, 2009, 02:38:37 PM »
I thought I would stop by and let you all know dh's visa was approved! My daughter and I came over first, thinking of this as a visit in case things went wrong. But I'm happy to say my husband called me at 5:30 this morning to tell me his visa was approved. :D lol

Interview was easy he said, the guy asked him about my tax returns for last year, we think mainly to make sure we knew how much I had to earn to *have* to file a tax return, and I had quoted the appropriate tax code so it was fine. :)

He will be flying here in late August, we were hoping for sooner but that's the cheapest flight we could find without going into September, plus he made his last day of work for the 21st.

Our timeline for DCF was a few days short of 4 months, so pretty quick all in all. :) Now just to get him here!

Take care everyone! :)

I know you had a hard time here in the UK and hope where you are now makes you and your family happy. Good luck in the future.  :)
