pleasantly surprised newby
« on: June 13, 2004, 06:46:05 AM »
Hi, my name is jon and i currently live in Seattle.  I discovered this site quite by accident.  I am happy to have found such a forum.  My current situation is, that i have a girlfriend who resides in Aldershot.  I met her while vacationing in Canada.  I have been to England twice to see her.  I love her very much and i know she loves me.  I look forward to making new friends in here and hope to gain some insight into the details of living in the UK.  Thank you.

Hi Jon,, Welcome to UKY :)

There are some real challenges to long distance relationships, and having a place like this to get support is invaluable :)
