I think its a Google issue, as all sites are saying that. 

ah thank you. I didnt think the site actually WAS harmful but sometimes software can get the wrong idea about things so I was just bringing it to yr attention.

yep, google's messed up at the moment.  I hope they get it sorted soon as it's a pain trying to get to your search results now!

What would I do without this forum??

I came here in frustration for something different to do, worrying about my Mac laptop after I get the same message on every single search I do!  Will have to try a different search engine for a while...

Google seems to be working ok now!

Seems to have been international.
