The Spaceshipone has just taken off from the Mojave Desert!!

The world's first privately funded rocket plane plans to shoot beyond the uppermost layers of Earth's atmosphere June 21, 2004. The SpaceShipOne is pictured landing at the Mojave Airport in this undated photograph.

Don't think it'll be mainstream in my lifetime.. but just the thought of it seems too 'Total Recall'  :D

That looks a bit scary!!!  But wow!  How cool!  I wanted to go to the moon when I was a kid, or so my mom says.  Guess I could now!!!  But, hmmm, I don't know just yet.  First I have to make my millions I guess. ;D

I don't know about it myself. 

I have a tremendous fear of flying let along flying into space.  ;)  I'll do just fine with my two feet solidly on the ground.  :D

It should be reaching the outer limit of the earth's atmosphere around in thirty minutes or so (I think).  Aviation History!!!  That's what they're proclaiming..
