EEA permit success stories

Will really appreciate your posts if you ve been successful in getting your family permit. This will really help people like us who need all the advice we can get.

I don't think many people have been unsuccessful in getting a family permit. what are your specific concerns?

Have you done a search on the forum? There are lots of EEA posts.

We got Dave's EEA FP extremely quickly and smoothly, at the end of January from LA. It's about a month I plan to post about our experience, but the moving to UK has taken the centre stage, and today is the first time I come to the forum in a long time...

EEA permit is very easy to get. I got mine in Paris, ready two days after I submitted the paperwork.

Biometric appointment - July 18, 2008
FH sent me his docs via DHL - July 18, 2008
Sent supporting information - July 21
Supporting information arrived - July 22
Received first email from consulate - July 31
Visa Issued!!!! August 4
Arrived in Cambridge, August 9
Married in France, October 17
Applied for EEA FP, October 20th
EEA FP granted October 21st
