Just out of curiousity, who did you talk to that gave you that information.  I have called today and they are not saying anything and were actually very rude about it.  They would only say that they received my fax and it was under consideration, which is unclear if they mean the application is under consideration or whether or not to expedite it is under consideration.

The information about the dates came from a letter which I received in response to the fax I sent.  Perhaps they will send you a letter soon about your fax.  I am not sure they know that kind of information on the IEB, or if they are willing to give it out.  I doubt it.

We aren't sure, but it would seem the IEB has very limited access to case status information other then if it is being processed or not.

I am appealing my Freedom of Information request on the IEB policies and procedures, but it is a long processes to try and get a hold of that info.  They are claiming the public having it would make their job more difficult.

I bet, that is ridiculous, they wouldn't need to man an entire call center if they made the information public, but yeah, I can see how it would be more difficult.   :-\\\\

Good for you putting that in there though!  I am going to complain as well because, as near as I can tell, the IEB serve no actual purpose and are just a complete waste of taxpayer money (or the ridiculous fee they charge!).  My MP reported back to us that he submitted a letter on March 3rd.  Yet these guys have not responded in anyway to our fax or his letter.  When is it time to get an lawyer involved?
