DirectGov--Does the US have an equivalent??
« on: April 26, 2009, 07:33:00 PM »
I think you'll all agree that Direct.gov.uk is an amazing website.  Everything you possibly need is right at your fingertips.  Anyone know if there is any sort of equivalent for the US?  Has anyone else ever tried to use any american gov't webiste?  They are the most convoluted confusing sites ever!

Have you seen usa.gov?
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Being a former government employee in California I used government websites on a continuous basis...I was often called upon to locate information for others and still do occasionally to this day for people here on UKY. So if you need info & cannot find it let me know & I'd be happy to have a go...Queen of Research works cheap!...well, free actually.
