Under the Weather
« on: March 27, 2009, 01:43:37 PM »
Who else has been slammed by this stupid cold going around? I've had mine for three weeks now and I can't see an end in sight. It started to wane and go away but now it's come back in full force.

The red nose is not very attractive (although I did think it was quite fitting on Red Nose Day).

At work we just seem to keep giving it back to one another. I've taken to using an alcohol hand cleaner every hour.
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.

Mine keeps threatening to develop, but never has fully. However, it's just enough to make me feel run down and tired all the time. Yesterday was bad; today a bit better. Who knows what tomorrow holds.

I hope you feel better soon, Ashley! xx

Mine just kicked in past couple of days. Thank goodness I have a stock of DayQuil that I picked up on the last trip to the US. DD (10 months) has got it and poor thing can't breathe through her nose so you can just imagine what getting her to sleep has been like and her staying asleep for more than a couple of hours at a time is impossible. So I think that has contributed to me feeling run down and it finally getting me. But hopefully the drugs last longer that the cold! I still have 8 more months before we get to go back and restock!
