Between the two Cambridge.  But if I had the choice neither.  Cambridge is ok in the summer when there are a lot of fairs, but blows in general.  It is very nice for a day trip though.

How is traffic from Cambridge to Huntingdon in the Morning? and back in afternoon?

Bad.  Traffic is one of the worst things about Cambridge.  If you are depending on the A14 I would expect at least once a month, on average, or so to have a complete shut down of the road due to accidents.

For the most part it is just a busy/annoying road, but it is filled with trucks and that makes things more difficult.  The A14 was basically designed as a two lane in each direction road that has now morphed into the major road for the region with no actual expansion or improvement.
