I'm so excited about this game as I'm a huge Pats fan! We got 6 tickets as my dad and some of his friends are going to come over. I took my wife to the first game in 2007 (dolphins v. giants) and that was really fun even though neither of them are my team. There is a chance that we may not need all 6 tickets, so I'll be sure to put up a post here to see if anyone needs any.
If they really wanted to shake things up they should let the Superbowl be played at Wembley, That would be amazing but I dont know how well it would go over in the states...
I don't see why they wouldn't do that, as it's so expensive these days that it's only really rich or crazy people who go. My dad went a couple of years ago in Arizona (he falls into the crazy category) and the face value was over $700 per ticket. I went over ten years ago in New Orleans and the tickets cost $125 which at the time was really expensive. The main reason why they probably wouldn't do it is that it is normally in a place that has warm weather at that time of year (Florida, Cali, New Orleans, etc.).
I think the best thing about the Wembley games is that it is such a celebration of football, they have great musical acts and you really feel like you're part of something special, like the Super Bowl but less pressure!
