ILR Granted, only took 5 weeks!!!
« on: March 28, 2009, 07:53:26 PM »
Today, I got a big envelope from Sheffield and my first thought was that I had been denied because it was so quick. I'm so excited, now I can book my American holiday for July.

I wanted to thank all of you that helped me get through my ILR process. I know I asked a lot of questions and you were so so helpful.

My timeline:
Posted application on the 18 Feb
Confirmation letter recieved 21 Feb
ILR received 28 March

I know what you mean, I was so close to scheduling an apt. but didn't want to spend the money. I had plans to go to the states in June but once I sent the application off, I knew I would have to change the date. I'm now going at the end of July which is a much better time to go. My husband is staying behind with my 2 boys and will be out of school.

I'm all booked now and can't wait to go home. My baby is 4 months old now and my mom hasn't met her yet.

I'm happy to see things are moving along with the ILR's now.

That's great news...we're applying at the end of April so hopefully it's still as speedy then!

Congratulations  ;D

Sheffield... that means they have Croydon has offloaded again...  That probablly explains the break in the log jam.  I thought all the family based ILRs were down in Croydon now.
