Can I really do my application online?

It says here that you must meet the following conditions:
    * are a resident of Great Britain
    * can meet the minimum age requirement
    * can meet the minimum eyesight requirement
    * are currently not prevented from driving for any reason
    * can pay £50.00 by Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Electron, Delta or Solo debit or credit card
    * have a valid UK passport or another form of identity
    * can provide addresses of where you have lived over the last three years

Is that the last three years in GB?? I'm concerned I will get halfway through the application and it will not let me do it. Also, do you do the whole thing online, print it, then send it in with your passport?

I really need to do this quickly, so it would be great if I could do it online. Meh. This process sucks!

No, if you are here legally on any kind of visa (except visitor, I should think) then you are a resident and can apply for the provisional license.
