If this is already being discussed somewhere else, please point me in the right direction.
I just noticed today that people have Reputation and then a number (mine is a 2) under their status. I went to my profile and saw that I have been awarded 2 reputation points and by whom (thanks, ladies!) and for what reason. How does this work? How do I award others reputation points? And am I correct that someone can give you *negative* rep points as well as positive ones? That could get messy....
Anyway, it's an interesting new development at UK-Y.
